Core Values of TexasNews Talk

There is SO MUCH GREATNESS about Texas, but it’s not being shared because of all the negative bull. This show is ours–(yours too) and we will do our best to honor Texas and Texans by providing real news without all the hype.

Following is a list of core values of Texas News Talk and associated channels on social media and the web:

  • We live by the Golden Rule. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
    • We will not be talking bad about people on Texas News Talk, you won’t see us trashing other humans because we know that talking about another person in a disparaging way does nothing but heaps judgment upon our own heads and ends up harming us in the long run. We use wisdom. It’s better to be kind to others and focus on behavior only if necessary, not the very identity and being of another person. All people are flawed and that’s not our job to stand in judgment or criticize (troll) others.

    • You can get negative news about people anywhere. You can follow salacious smear campaigns all over the place, but you won’t get that here. We don’t need to talk bad about others to get our point across. Since we report the truth, we don’t need to persuade you that another person is bad.
We’ve had enough drama and we’re ready for real news and real connection among Texas communities.

    • We will not mock or ridicule other Texans or Americans, nor talk down to people or be condescending to others. We will also not engage in debates that are out-of-line with our core values listed on this page. We have limited energy and resources, and want to focus on building community and sharing the best news we can find about Texas.

  • And also, we here in Texas have “Southern Hospitality” and that’s one of the reasons Texas is such an amazing State! We are friendly and neighborly. Here at TexasNews Talk We believe respect and niceties should extend to our Podcast and social media interaction… “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it at all.” Some of the things we will be speaking about may not be rosy, because we want to keep you informed about the news, which is sometimes bad–however, we don’t want to become like all the rest–inserting our opinions incessantly. We report what we think is newsworthy, and then trust you to make your own decisions about what to feel and believe about the information.

  • TexasNews Talk will not emphasize politics, but we do lean heavily towards conservative values in terms of God, Family, Country and Love for our fellows.

  • TexasNews Talk will focus on people, places and things that build up Texas and Texans, we are here to edify, inform and entertain.

  • TexasNews Talk is not looking for a fight. We’re here to keep you informed about matters, information and sometimes problems that effect your life. We’re here to be honest and truthful, even if doing so doesn’t fit the overall agenda of the political party we support. Problems can be solved, and we believe Texans have what it takes to solve problems and overcome adversity directly and courageously without being spun into senseless webs.

  • TexasNews Talk will steer clear of topics that are overly saturated in the mainstream media.

  • TexasNews Talk does not support violence, racism, communism or tyranny of any kind.

  • TexasNews Talk welcomes respectful commentary, but disrespect of others (even those with whom we disagree) is discouraged throughout our social media platforms.

  • TexasNews Talk does not engage people who are behaving like trolls, and encourages our audience to do the same.

  • TexasNews Talk supports and respects the following types of foundations, constructs, causes and organizations:
  • God
  • US Constitution
  • United States Flag
  • Declaration of Independence
  • Rule of Law
  • Local Law Enforcement
  • Freedom of Speech
  • 2nd Amendment
  • Local Churches
  • Conservative Activism
  • Justice for J6
  • Respect & Equality
  • Government by the People, for the People
  • Industry
  • Adoption Centers
  • Orphanages
  • Prison Reform
  • Civil Liberties
  • Safety and Freedom for Children
  • Parent’s Rights
  • Mental Health Reform

Thank you for visiting this blog post and do drop me an email to share your thoughts about the new program and social media community. We want this to be something special, a labor of love, and a way to honor Texans in every nook and every cranny of the great State of Texas. 💕
